Lisa Cook

I’ve been with PureGym since the very beginning after completing my degree in Exercise Science at the University of Napier. Being one of the longest-serving trainers, with over five years’ experience in the industry, my aim has been and will continue to be to improve people’s health and make them feel body confident by inspiring and motivating them to achieve their own goals.

I know how training affects mood, mind and attitude and that’s why I always try to make your sessions fun and purposeful.

My dance background has given me the passion for fitness and has helped me have skills to develop training for clients with a touch and understanding for what your body is capable of.

I entered the fitness industry knowing my main aim was to help others understand fitness and live a healthy lifestyle whilst enjoying exercise. I want to use my knowledge from dancing and experience in the industry to help create a fun and goal achieving session for you be a 1-2-1 session or even if you want to train with your friends in a group session.

Watching my clients reach their own goals is the greatest achievement for me as a trainer.
