Ipswich Buttermarket gym reviews

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Still just can’t go and workout Today was a joke, a dude setting up a camera / selfie stick that took priority over actually working out! It is not the newbies or novices it’s the posers / phone users on equipment that ruin going to this gym

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bad maintenance of equipments Equipments maintenance are not good enough and when equipment damages , it takes weeks before they repaired. Health and safety also are bad. Gymers walking around bear foot... PT just ignore them However, PT's needs to live be example , making sure gymers use safety lock on bars.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Small, old equipment, anxiety inducing It’s really uncomfortable to visit this gym. I have severe anxiety and I’m trying to better myself but it’s hard to visit this gym. Women’s lockeroom is right next to the weight lifting area and it’s so uncomfortable to go in. The staff seems very clicky and judgemental and you can tell they approach just a certain type of customer, the ones that are really fit. Never seen anybody smile or say hello. Overall really different from the Puregym I used to go to when I lived in London a couple of years ago in Bermonsdey. Honestly thinking to try the other gym in town as this one’s vibe it’s super uncomfortable and the place is so small that going in the afternoon for someone that suffers of anxiety like me it’s just nightmare inducing. I mostly go to do cardio (would never approach weight lifting even though I’m really curious and interested about it because of the people usually in that area and the layout of the machines) and some of the treadmills don’t even incline properly. When I go in the morning the only 2 bikes available are always hogged by the same two people, so if I want to do 1 full hour, it means I’ve got very limited options on the machines I can use. And the path to the woman’s lockeroom is just a runaway through hell honestly. Not sure what were you thinking putting it right there in between the weight lifting machines. I come to the gym to destress and decompress and work on a healthier life, not to feel uncomfortable and be looked at and judged for my physical appearance!
