Edinburgh Craigleith Retail Park gym reviews

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome classes Love the cycle classes and the functional classes. The trainers really put you through your paces. The trainers are super helpful. Asked one of them a few questions after a class about my training and they gave me some useful tips!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Spacious, clean and great variety of equipment Great gym. Always able to do a decent workout even when it’s a bit busy as there’s a good variety of equipment. Very spacious so you don’t feel like anyone’s in your personal space. Staff are friendly too which is a bonus.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great classes. Great Team. Very Approachable Great and very approachable team! Everyone seems really nice! Steve and Ally’s classes are the best! Worth a visit! Staff are always very busy but never too busy to help. Thanks!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from New gym lacks soul Gym staff not doing any work - no interaction with members. Only a couple of classes are good. Can do with improving the class timetable. I don't feel comfortable enough to speak to a member of staff, as I all received before was a bad attitude. Ally and the blonde guys classes are good. Needs new management.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Effective and enjoyable classes Enjoy Dan's Tuesday morning LBT class so disappointed to see it's been reduced from 45 minutes to only 30.Really miss those extra 15 minutes of exercise. Please could the class revert to a full 45 minutes please?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Lazy staff and manky showers The showers are mouldy and smelly. The only staff I see doing any work are the boy with the ginger hair and the Italian older guy. The cleaning standards really need to improve.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great gym and price but some machines are missing Lots of cardio and machines to exercise upper body. Very little weight machines for lower body.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Overall very good, but... I really enjoy the facilities at PureGym Craigleith specifically. I dislike that the area with the push sleds gets used for circuits - especially when the circuit exercises aren't using it. It's such a good thing to have and it's wasted having instructors using it as a place to stand.
