Tom Cockayne

Hello, my name is Tom and I’m a fully qualified personal trainer here at PureGym Selby. After leaving the military and experiencing a series of unfulfilling jobs, I finally decided to pursue my passion for helping people. I am truly passionate about guiding people towards their fitness goals, particularly those who lead busy lives due to work, parenting, or studying. 
I understand the struggles that come with weight loss, especially when trying to balance everyday responsibilities. It can be overwhelming and tedious, but I believe that the process doesn’t have to be boring. That’s why I strive to make my workouts as enjoyable and engaging as possible. 
I love meeting new people If you ever see me at the gym, please feel free to come up and say hello. Despite being in the military my approach is laid back and friendly I prefer to encourage than be the ‘shouty type’.
