Sára Ficken
I used to be the queen of excuses: no time to work out, I had more important things to do, I was too tired, my children needed me.. excuses after excuses. I went from a size 10 to 20 and I hated who I was and didn't have much joy in anything around me and was also diagnosed with depression.
One day I decided enough was enough, and after 10 years of no exercise, I joined the gym. Since that day I workout 4-5 days every week.
On my first day at the gym I felt judged and uncomfortable, but I knew I had to push through that feeling if I wanted to achieve my goals.
I had no idea what I was doing. Like every newbie, I was 'hiding' on the cardio and resistance machines and just copied what everyone else was doing. I had no knowledge regarding how to achieve my goals so I got myself a PT who helped me do the exercises correctly, explained the importance of a program ad nutrition and how to work towards my goals.
I fell in love with working out. I got stronger, my body composition started to change, I was happier and had more energy and I cannot remember when my mental health was this good.
Now, I want to help You feel the same way as I do. I want to help you achieve YOUR goals, whatever they are. I understand how hard and intimidating it can e to start something new, not knowing where to look for information and support and I also understand how to work out hard and push yourself to and beyond your limits.
