Hi - I'm Becs! I'm a Level 3 CIMSPA Qualified Personal Trainer and I am very interested in the muscle building side of fitness.
My own journey started when I was 16 - after years of being an overweight child, bullying had knocked my confidence and I developed an eating disorder. It took me a long time to rebuild my relationship with fitness and food, however, it helped me gain a valuable insight into societal pressures people with different body types face today.
6 years on, my views on exercise and the gym have evolved dramatically. I believe the gym isn't meant for the sole purpose of weight loss and hours of endless cardio - there is so much to gain from building muscle, getting stronger and dedicating just a few hours a week to longevity!
