One day, it hit me like a tonne of bricks when I noticed just how bad my health was getting and my self-esteem dropped to an all-time low after being so active as a child. Simple tasks would get me out of breath! It was at this point, I decided a change was needed and I decided to pursue a career in sports and fitness, not only to help myself but to ensure that people in a similar position received the utmost support to maintain a healthy lifestyle. I have since coached children through to adults for over nine years in a variety of sports.
I understand that everybody is different, and we all have different perceptions of what fitness means. I believe fitness is being as active as possible whilst training towards your fitness goals, being comfortable with your own body and keeping your body in a position where it improves your confidence and self-esteem. Whether you are a complete beginner or an advanced athlete, I will focus on using sound scientific principles through tailored sessions and nutritional guidance to ease your journey towards your fitness goals.
