Growing up I have always loved sports, one of my fond memories from my childhood was watching and playing football. This is where my passion for being active began.
Being a young female, I grew up with the pressure of the false reality of body image within the media which meant I struggled with accepting who I am and what I look like.
This meant that my fitness journey at the gym began as only the aesthetic side, focusing on shaping my body with an unhealthy diet and heavy cardio.
With encouragement from my mum, I started my fitness journey again and began educating myself on improving my performance and strength.
My ambition is to spread knowledge and inspire within the fitness industry, particularly about women lifting weights, as there is negative and false information about the idea of looking "bulky".
My goal is to inspire, impact and empower others.
