Hi there, My name is Avela Mabhena the founder of Av fitness and Dalkeith Fit Club.
I decided to pursue a career in fitness because I spent years trying to find the best way to gain muscle mass and strength as I've always been skinny and I absolutely hated it and something had to give, so I tried every method of training you can think of to help me gain muscle. I accumulated a lot of knowledge in my journey and I finally managed to get myself to a happy place after achieving my goals which was so satisfying and my confidence sky rocketed and I never looked back since.
Since 2018 I have been helping my clients achieve their own goals, get into better and healthier habits and most importantly stay consistent with their training whilst improving their eating habits.
I care about my clients, and there's nothing more important to me as a coach than helping someone go through an experience that makes them happy, confident and strong. I know how bad it feels looking at yourself and not like what you see and it can affect how you see yourself and the world around you. I want to be there for those who want to bring change into their own lives and become a better version of themselves. I want to help you discover the benefits of training and making training part of your lifestyle so you never have to fall back into your old habits, I'm here to guide you every step of your journey.
I understand that life can be busy and hectic and it's often tough to find time to workout. I've been there myself and I've made every excuse I could find to get out of working out but still hoping to achieve my goals some how.
